Frederick oversees every retained and contingent assignment. He has been recognized as one of the best in the legal search field for over seventeen years. Mr. Shelton has filled attorney and legal staff positions throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. He has successfully completed searches for General Counsel, Partners, Associates and a variety of Professional Staff positions. Fred has also coordinated the acquisition of groups and law firm mergers. Frederick has held positions as the CMO of a litigation boutique and the Executive Director of an intellectual property boutique.
Prior to starting S&S, Frederick was the National Director of one of the largest recruiting firms in the country. He left to start a firm that would have one simple philosophy: We will prioritize people over profits.
We place our focus on the best interest of the candidate. The result is that since 1994, we've only had one attorney who wasn't with our client 18 months later. Our success rate is over 95% while the industry average is just over 60%.

Frederick proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He has always given to his community, having been a volunteer counselor at The Storefront Teen Crisis Center, the President of 1 Class at a Time and has volunteered at Children's Hospital, and currently volunteers as an Assistant Tennis Coach at Green Valley High School. 
Frederick is currently the Director of Operations of the New Terrain Foundation, a charity whose purpose is to inspire, motivate and educate returning troops and veterans so they can effectively reintigrate back to civilian life.
